Design Test Laboratory for Large Pharmaceutical Company in Oss
Protechnicon has successfully provided the concept and basic design for an advanced testing laboratory for a leading pharmaceutical company in Oss. We were responsible for the complete architectural, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering design, working closely with both the customer users and the suppliers of test equipment.
The design process took approximately four months. After the design phase, Protechnicon also offers support during tendering, realization and commissioning. To minimize disruption to the production process, the project is carried out in several phases, which significantly increased the complexity.
Challenges and solutions
- Challenge: The project was carried out in an existing building, where the existing installations had to be adapted to the new situation.
- Solution: Specific adjustments and solutions were developed for the supply and discharge of various (clean) utilities, to ensure that the new and existing systems connected seamlessly.
- Challenge: The complexity of the project required a multidisciplinary approach.
- Solution: Protechnicon put together a multidisciplinary tender package in which architectural, electrical, mechanical and process engineering elements were addressed integrally. This ensures smooth coordination and collaboration between the different disciplines.
With this approach, Protechnicon has ensured that the project can be carried out efficiently and effectively, with minimal disruption to the ongoing production process.
